Product Names - recommendations

This is information is an approximation of the variations for product names that we know work well. As you may already be aware there are many ideas, theories and practical applications out 
 
For some categories there may be variants in the name that work better than others so please just use this as a guide and go to myshopping.com.au or any other search site and analyse how your products might do better with a naming convention that follows the norm. 
 
Name structure
[Brand] [Model name] [Model number] ([Variation 1], [Variation 2],[Colour]) *[Keyword/Feature]* - [Other Relevant Info]
 
Definitions
[Brand] = Samsung : The importance of brand is something you have to determine - most merchants display brand.
[Model name] = Galaxy S3
[Model number] = i9300 : **Position of Model name/number can change depending on what is more relevant for the product
([Variation 1], [Variation 2],[Colour]) = (16GB, White) : sizes colour etc...Not always used
*[Keyword/Feature]* = Blank : This can be things like retina display, natural rubber or other defining features
- [Other Relevant Info] = Unlocked : the example is for phones but can include other keywords
 
Punctuation marks or symbols
Please be careful when using punctuation marks or symbols and take into account the readability of the product name. People like to see clear text that conveys a quick understanding of what the product is.
