Cookies explained

 

All this means is that on the visitors machine or device we track a few key data points that distinguishes them as unique. These change from time to time and not all cookies contain the same info. e.g. some users we may know what browser they are using (if the browser they use reports that) and for some users we may know their member ID (if they are a rewards member) . We combine all the data points in the the cookie best ascertain a unique visitor and it never affects your website.

 

In fact your own website may also deposit cookies (as most do) on the same users machine/device that we sent to you.
